Volunteering is a very humbling and life changing experience. There are many opportunities to volunteer here in Kolkata and Nairobi. However, one does not need to come to Kolkata or Nairobi in order to help the poor. You can help the poor in small ways, to consume less, and to be more aware of there situations. At our partner schools, we have requests for teachers to teach English and Math at the primary and middle school levels. These are long term positions and require at least three months commitment. We also need tutors to help children after school with English and Math. For the tutoring position, we ask for at least a one month commitment. If you wish to help out, please contact us for information. We need volunteers in Kolkata and in Nairobi to help teach kids we have placed in schools. “not currently accepting volunteers” |
