Awareness Rides Across America: Century Rides to Raise Awareness for Extreme Poverty in 2021
The cycling event will begin in San Francisco. The goal for the ride is to raise awareness for people living in extreme poverty in the world.
About 1.2 billion people live in extreme poverty according to UN and WHO data. This number is probably higher if more accurate counts can be made. In any case, there are too many people who are living in poor conditions with little opportunities. In these situations, millions of children have little or no opportunities for education and are at risks to many human rights abuses.
You can follow the rides on Strava and on our Facebook page. We will update our location as the ride progresses and share with everyone our thoughts on our website and Facebook page at,
